Description
The Lisle 68150 is a go/no-go feeler gauge with 22 steel blades for checking gaps such as valve lash, point gaps and other small clearances in automotive and general mechanical work. Each blade is stepped, with a lower and a higher thickness on the same blade, running from .004/.006 in up to .025/.027 in, and the steps differ by .002 in from one blade to the next. Blades are about 1/2 in wide and 3-1/4 in long.
Choose the blade pair that matches the clearance in the equipment maker's specification, and keep the blades clean and lightly oiled to prevent rust. Do not force a blade into a gap, as bending it can change its reading. Lisle lists the item with the UPC 083045681502. Sold as one gauge.
