Description
Loctite 262 is a red, one-part anaerobic threadlocker for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. It cures without air between close-fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from shock and vibration. Henkel lists large bolts and studs up to M25 (3/4 in) as typical applications, and the thixotropic liquid reduces migration after application. The 50 mL bottle suits maintenance shops and repeat assembly use.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), eye irritant (Category 2B) and a repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2). Wear protective gloves, avoid breathing vapours or mist and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Not recommended for pure oxygen systems or as a sealant for chlorine or other strong oxidizers. Sold per 50 mL bottle.
