Description
Loctite 565 is a white to off-white, one-component, anaerobic methacrylate thread sealant paste of high viscosity and low strength. Henkel designed it for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings, and it was pressure-tested to 207 bar (3000 psi) on 3/8 NPT steel pipe tees and plugs.
The TDS lists UL MH8007, ULC MH27131 and NSF/ANSI 61 listings (regional approvals). Safety Data Sheet classification: skin irritation Category 2, serious eye irritation Category 2A, specific target organ toxicity (repeated exposure) Category 2; contains cumene hydroperoxide (1-5%).
