Description
Loctite 567 is a one-part, off-white anaerobic thread sealant paste for locking and sealing tapered metal pipe threads and fittings. It stays flexible in the tube, cures when confined between close-fitting metal threads, and contains a lubricant that helps prevent galling on stainless steel and aluminum fittings. Maintenance and plant crews use it on pipework in industrial, marine, utility and gas systems.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin sensitizer (Category 1: may cause an allergic skin reaction). Wear protective gloves, avoid breathing mist or vapours and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Check that the fitting material and service conditions suit the product before sealing live lines. Sold per 6 mL tube.
