Description
Loctite LB 8023 is a calcium sulfonate-based, metal-free anti-seize paste sold in a brush-top bottle. Henkel positions it for assemblies exposed to fresh or salt water and high humidity, such as bolts, studs, pipe joints, shafts, bushings and chains in marine service, pulp and paper mills and water and wastewater plants, and for dressing pump gaskets and flanges.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the paste as a skin irritant (Category 2), as causing serious eye damage (Category 1) and as a skin sensitizer (Category 1). Wear protective gloves, eye protection and face protection, and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Not for pure oxygen systems or as a lubricant for chlorine or other strong oxidizers. Sold per 8 oz bottle.
