Description

LPS Dry Film PTFE Lubricant is a silicone-free spray that deposits a thin, dry PTFE film to reduce friction and wear. LPS states the film does not attract dust or dirt, is colourless and non-staining, and suits temperatures up to 260 °C (500 °F). It is used on chutes and slides, conveyor parts, window guides, locks and catches, sliding drawers, and as a release agent on molded plastic, rubber and extruded metal parts. This listing is the 312 g (11 wt oz) aerosol can.

The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies the aerosol as Flammable aerosol Category 1, Gas under pressure (liquefied gas), Skin irritation Category 2, Eye irritation Category 2A, Reproductive toxicity Category 2 and Specific target organ toxicity, single exposure, Category 3 (narcotic effects), signal word Danger. Wear gloves, protective clothing and eye protection, use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, and keep away from heat and ignition sources. Do not pierce or burn the can and keep it below 50 °C (122 °F). Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold per can.
