Description
Permatex Anti-Seize Lubricant is a blend of aluminum, copper and graphite lubricants applied during assembly to help prevent galling, corrosion and seizing and to make later disassembly easier. Permatex rates it for -60 °F to 1600 °F (-51 °C to 871 °C), describes it as salt, corrosion and moisture resistant, and suggests it for spark plugs, cylinder head and exhaust bolts, brake anchor pins, U-bolts, hinges, gears, chains and sprockets. This is the 454 g (1 lb) bottle.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies it as harmful if inhaled (acute toxicity, dust/mist, Category 4) and as carcinogenicity Category 1B, with the signal word Danger. Stir well, apply a light coat to clean parts, wipe off excess, and use in a well-ventilated area. Sold per bottle.
