Description
This 1 US gallon (3.8 L) jug of Ridgid Dark Thread Cutting Oil is the shop-size format of a black, mineral-oil-based fluid used when cutting threads on steel pipe. It is meant for pipe machines with an oil reservoir and for refilling hand oilers, so contractors and maintenance shops can keep a steady supply on the job. The oil flows over the die to reduce friction and carry away heat and chips.
The Safety Data Sheet states that the product is not classified as hazardous under GHS, and it is for industrial use only. Keep the jug tightly closed away from oxidizing agents, wear eye protection and suitable gloves, and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold as a single jug.
