Description
Rust-Oleum Industrial Choice 1600 System Multi-Purpose Primer in black (SKU 257400) is a fast-drying modified alkyd primer in an aerosol for everyday indoor and outdoor industrial maintenance. It is sprayed on prepared metal and other surfaces as a base coat before a finish coat and can be applied in any position, including upside down. The can has a 12 oz (340 g) fill weight.
The Safety Data Sheet (revision 11/3/2025) classifies it as an extremely flammable aerosol (Category 1) that causes serious eye irritation (Category 2A), may cause drowsiness or dizziness and is suspected of causing cancer (Category 2), signal word Danger. Not for use on galvanized steel. Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area, wear gloves and eye protection, and read the SDS before use. Sold per can.
