Description
The 3M 320-2001 is a band-style hearing protector with soft conical pods that swivel for easier fitting. Per 3M, the silicone tips contain a foam core, the material is PVC, silicone and ABS, and the protector is reusable. The flexible band can be worn under the chin, for example when a hard hat is used.
Per the 3M product page, the Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) is 20 dB with the band under the chin and 17 dB with the band behind the head, CSA Class BL. 3M notes that the NRR may overestimate the protection provided in typical use and recommends reducing it by 50% when estimating noise reduction. Hearing protectors must be selected, fitted and used according to the 3M instructions and with the advice of a safety professional. Sold individually: one band with its pair of pods.
