Description
CRC Extreme Duty Silicone is a silicone-based multi-purpose aerosol lubricant that leaves a dry film. CRC lists it for plant conveyors, guides and rails, mold release, vending machines, electric motors, rollers and sliding mechanisms, with a working temperature up to 204 °C (400 °F). CRC states it is safe on most plastics; test a small area first. This is the 283 g can.
The Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2015) classifies it as aerosol Category 1 (extremely flammable aerosol, pressurized container), skin irritation, eye irritation, suspected of damaging fertility or the unborn child (Category 2), aspiration hazard and toxic to aquatic life with long lasting effects, signal word Danger. Obtain special instructions, wear gloves and eye protection, and use in a well-ventilated area away from ignition sources. Sold per can.
