Description
CRC Food Plant Chain Lube is a blend of synthetic lubricants and mineral oil for roller drive and conveyor chains, rated NSF H1 for incidental food contact. CRC says it penetrates, lubricates and protects moving parts by reducing friction and wear, and lists conveyor chains, packaging equipment, hoist chains, link and roller assemblies and forklift trucks as applications.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies it as a flammable aerosol (Category 2) with a pressurized container that may burst if heated, and as harmful to aquatic life (acute and chronic Category 3). Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold as a 340 g (16 oz) aerosol can.
