Description
Single DeWalt 04000-PWR replacement toggle wing for 1/8 in (3 mm) toggle bolts, sold each (one piece, no screw included). It is the spring wing part of the two-part toggle bolt assembly, in zinc-plated carbon steel, with a 6-32 thread to match a 1/8 in machine screw. In wallboard the maker suggests a 3/8 in (9.5 mm) hole, and the folded wing needs about 1-1/16 in (27 mm) of clearance behind the wall.
Meant for hollow base materials such as wallboard, plaster, hollow block, plywood and light-gauge steel, when you already have the screws or need spare wings. The wing is folded back, pushed through the hole until it springs open, and held against the back of the wall while the screw is tightened. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the project.
