Description
Single DeWalt Power-Stud+ SD2 wedge expansion anchor, catalogue number 7423SD2-PWR: 1/2 in (12.7 mm) diameter, 4-1/2 in (114 mm) overall length, with about 2-7/8 in (73 mm) of threaded length. The body, nut and washer are zinc-plated carbon steel, and the expansion clip is Type 316 stainless steel; the maker packs it in boxes of 50, but it is sold here by the piece.
It is a fully threaded, torque-controlled anchor that the maker lists for concrete, lightweight concrete and concrete over steel deck, for example for railings, brackets, pipe supports and equipment anchorage. Note that only the clip is stainless: the body is zinc-plated carbon steel, so choose a stainless series where the anchor will be exposed to damp.
