Description
Single DeWalt Power-Stud HD5 7723HD5-PWR wedge expansion anchor, 1/2 in (12.7 mm) in diameter and 4-1/2 in (114 mm) long, with 2-3/4 in (70 mm) of UNC thread. The carbon steel body, nut and washer are hot-dip galvanized, and the expansion clip is 304 stainless steel. Sold individually (per piece); the manufacturer packs this size in boxes of 50.
This fully threaded, torque-controlled anchor is intended for normal-weight concrete, lightweight concrete and grouted concrete masonry, for uses such as fencing, posts and railings, ledgers and storage structures. It is drilled with a 1/2 in bit, the same as the anchor diameter, and can be installed through a standard fixture hole. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the project.
