Description
The Klein Tools D2000-48 is an 8 in diagonal cutting plier from the 2000 Series with an angled head for easier work in confined spaces. The manufacturer states the high-leverage design gives 36 percent more cutting and gripping power.
Per the manufacturer, the 2000 Series knives cut ACSR, screws, nails and most hardened wire, and the handle tempering absorbs the snap when cutting wire. The joint is a locking type. Not insulated: the plastic-dipped handles are not intended for protection against electrical shock (per the manufacturer). Sold as a single tool.
