Description
The Klein Tools D2000-9NE is a 9 in high-leverage side-cutting pliers from the 2000 series. The manufacturer states that its knives are designed for heavy-duty cutting of ACSR, screws, nails and most hardened wire, and that the high-leverage design gives 46% greater cutting power than other plier designs.
The plier head and knives are induction-hardened, with a hot-riveted joint, cross-hatched knurled jaws and a combination polished and black-oxide finish. Plastic-dipped light blue handles. Made in the USA. Not insulated: the plastic-dipped handles are not intended to protect against electrical shock (per the manufacturer). Sold as a single tool.
