The Klein Tools D213-9NE is a 9 in high-leverage side-cutting pliers with a New England nose. The manufacturer states that the rivet sits closer to the cutting edge, giving 46% more cutting and gripping power than other plier designs. It is rated for #8 AWG copper, aluminum and other soft metals.
The head is induction-hardened steel with a hot-riveted joint and cross-hatched knurled jaws; the handles are plastic-dipped and dark blue. Made in the USA. Not insulated: the plastic-dipped handles are not intended to protect against electrical shock (per the manufacturer). Sold as a single tool.
