Description
The Klein Tools J2000-28 is an 8 in heavy-duty diagonal cutting plier. The rivet sits closer to the cutting edge, which the manufacturer states gives 36 percent greater cutting and gripping power than other plier designs. It is designed to cut ACSR, screws, nails and most hardened wire.
Short jaws and beveled cutting edges allow close cutting of wire, and the induction-hardened cutting knives are made for long life. The Journeyman dual-material handles combine a hard black material for toughness with a soft outer surface for comfort and grip, and are color-coded light blue for quick identification. Made in the USA from US-made tool steel, per the manufacturer. Not insulated: never use on or near live electrical circuits. Sold as a single pair.
