Description
The Knipex 71 31 200 is an 8 in CoBolt high leverage compact bolt cutter with a notched blade. The manufacturer states that the recess in the blade makes it easier to cut thicker wires without the wire slipping out, and that it cuts bolts, nails and rivets up to 1/4 in (6.0 mm) diameter as well as soft, hard and piano wire.
Per the manufacturer, the induction hardened cutting edges are approx. 64 HRC and a gripping surface below the joint lets you hold and pull wire. Made of forged, multi-stage oil-hardened chrome vanadium heavy-duty steel with plastic-coated handles. Sold as a single tool.
