Knipex 95 11 200 8 in Cable Shears with Twin Cutting Edge

The Knipex 95 11 200 is an 8 in cable shear with twin cutting edges for cutting copper and aluminum cables. The manufacturer states that the hardened, precision-ground blades give a clean, smooth cut without crushing or deformation, and that cutting is split into an initial cut through the insulating sheath in the front cutting area and a final cut through the conductor in the back area.

Per the manufacturer, this allows cables up to 25/32 in (2/0 AWG) to be cut one-handed, and the tool is not suitable for steel wire or hard drawn copper conductors. It has an adjustable, self-locking bolted joint and a pinch guard to protect the operator’s fingers. High-grade special tool steel, forged and oil-hardened, with plastic-coated handles.
