Description
Loctite 495 is a one-part, low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive for general-purpose bonding of plastics, rubbers and metals. It cures with moisture from the surrounding air, so no mixing is needed, and maintenance and repair crews use it to fixture and bond small parts, gaskets, seals and rubber components. This is the 28.3 g (1 oz) bottle for shops that bond often.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the adhesive as a combustible liquid (flammable liquid Category 4), an eye irritant (Category 2B) and a single-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 3, respiratory tract irritation), and warns that it bonds skin in seconds. Wear eye protection and gloves, work in a well-ventilated area and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold per 1 oz bottle.
