Description
LPS All-Purpose Anti-Seize is a dark grey, moly-fortified paste that goes onto threads, fasteners and sliding metal surfaces to keep them from seizing, galling or locking up after heat and corrosion. The 227 g (0.5 lb) bottle has a brush built into the cap, so maintenance crews can paint a thin film on bolts, studs, flange faces, keyways and slides without a separate applicator.
Clean the threads with a wire brush, apply a thin coat, assemble and wipe off the excess. The Canadian Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2023) lists the product as not classified as hazardous, but it is for industrial use only and must not be used on oxygen systems.
