Description
This green, mint-scented assembly lubricant is meant to coat bearings, cams, lifters and valve-train parts before an engine or other mechanical assembly is first run, so surfaces are not dry at start-up. Lucas also lists it for threaded fasteners as a torque aid. It suits engine builders, rebuilders and maintenance shops, and it is made with zinc and molybdenum additives. Use small amounts only.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin sensitizer, Category 1 (H317, may cause an allergic skin reaction), signal word Warning. Wear protective gloves, wash contaminated clothing before reuse, and read the label and the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold as a single 236 mL (8 oz) bottle.
