Description
The Milwaukee 48-73-1463 is a Shade W5 uncoated polycarbonate replacement lens for the Milwaukee task full face shield frame (48-73-1461). It is a lens only: the frame is sold separately. Milwaukee lists the Shade W5 lens for hot work such as brazing, soldering, torch cutting and acetylene welding, and tells the user to refer to the applicable ANSI and OSHA shade requirements for the task.
Per the manufacturer, the lens attaches to and detaches from the frame quickly and without tools. Milwaukee also lists a 180 degree field of view and compatibility with safety glasses. Sold individually (one lens, 0.225 lb / about 0.10 kg as printed by the manufacturer). Select and use it according to the Milwaukee instructions and the advice of a safety professional.
