Description
The OLFA L-5 is an 18 mm utility knife with a fiberglass-reinforced handle and a wraparound grip. A ratchet-lock mechanism adjusts the blade position, and a stainless steel channel supports the blade.
It comes with a black 18 mm snap-off blade installed, with eight snap-off segments, and blades are changed without tools. A built-in multi-purpose metal pick is included, which the manufacturer relates to removing caulk, opening lids and detail work. The knife accepts most OLFA 18 mm blades, and the manufacturer lists uses such as carpet, cardboard, house wrap, laminates, linoleum, tape and rope. Sold as a single knife.
