Description
The Proto J5436H is a 1/2 in drive standard socket with a 1-1/8 in, 6-point opening in a full polish finish. The manufacturer positions its 6-point sockets for stubborn or damaged fasteners and for fasteners made of soft materials.
Per the manufacturer, the TorquePlus design lets the socket engage the fastener flats rather than the corners, using a radius-corner design that spreads contact stress over a larger area of the socket. Overall length is 1-3/4 in. Sold as a single socket.
