Description
Short heavy-duty 1/4 in structural wood screw for connector installations and for wood-to-wood or engineered-wood assemblies. The Type-17 point lets it drive without predrilling and limits splitting, and the double-barrier coating gives it a protective finish.
Supplied as a pack of 25 screws. The manufacturer recommends a low-speed 1/2 in drill with a 3/8 in hex driver; the driver bit is not part of the pack (replacement bit BITHEXR38-R1). Check the manufacturer data sheet for permitted uses and corrosion exposure.
