Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie Sleeve-All SL75414H sleeve anchor, 3/4 x 4-1/4 in (19.1 x 108 mm), with a hex-head head, in zinc-plated carbon steel. The maker supplies it pre-assembled and sells this model in boxes of 10; here it is sold by the piece.
It is a one-piece expanding sleeve anchor that the maker recommends for solid base materials such as concrete, brick and block, for example to secure door frames, brackets, rails and light fixtures. Drill a 3/4 in (19.1 mm) hole with a carbide bit, clean it, drive the anchor through the fixture and tighten; the maker gives 90 ft-lbf (122 N·m) as the installation torque in concrete. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of the project.
