Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-37214 Strong-Bolt 2 wedge anchor, 3/8 x 2-1/4 in (9.5 x 57 mm), sold individually (per piece). It is a zinc-plated carbon steel stud supplied assembled with a nut and washer, with a chamfered top that helps prevent mushrooming when the anchor is driven into the hole.
Meant for fastening plates, brackets, rails, pipe supports and equipment bases to concrete. Drill a 3/8 in (9.5 mm) hole with a carbide bit, clean it, drive the anchor and tighten to 30 ft-lbf (41 N·m); do not use an impact wrench. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of your project.
