Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie STB2-50234 Strong-Bolt 2 wedge anchor, 1/2 x 2-3/4 in (12.7 x 70 mm), sold individually (per piece). It is a zinc-plated carbon steel stud supplied assembled with a nut and washer, with a chamfered top that helps prevent mushrooming when the anchor is driven into the hole.
Meant for fastening plates, brackets, rails, pipe supports and equipment bases to concrete. Drill a 1/2 in (12.7 mm) hole with a carbide bit, clean it, drive the anchor and tighten to 60 ft-lbf (81 N·m); do not use an impact wrench. Installation must follow the manufacturer’s instructions and the requirements of your project.
