Description
Single Simpson Strong-Tie Strong-Bolt 2 wedge anchor, model STB2-751200R5, sold by the piece. It is a 3/4 in (19.1 mm) diameter, 12 in (305 mm) long anchor in zinc-plated carbon steel with a 6 in (152 mm) threaded length, installed with a nut and washer. The chamfered top is meant to limit mushrooming when the anchor is driven in.
A wedge-type expansion anchor for fixing base plates, posts, racking, machinery and steel sections to concrete. It is installed in a 3/4 in (19.1 mm) hole made with a carbide bit, driven in through the fixture, and tightened to the torque published by the manufacturer (150 ft-lbf, about 203 N·m). The maker advises against using an impact wrench. Installation must follow the manufacturer's instructions and the requirements of your project.
