Description
The Stanley FatMax 16-970 is a set of three wood chisels in 12 mm (1/2 in), 18 mm (3/4 in) and 25 mm (1 in) widths. The blades are hardened, tempered high-chrome carbon alloy steel for edge retention, per the manufacturer.
A steel thru-tang shaft and steel striking cap allow use with a steel-headed hammer. The bi-material grip handles are shatter resistant, and the supplied blade guard can be wall-mounted for storage.
