Description
The Stanley FATMAX 43-549 is a 48 in (1200 mm) magnetic box beam level. According to the manufacturer, rare earth magnets give it strong holding power on metal surfaces, and its block vials provide an accuracy of 0.0005 in./in. (0.5 mm/m).
The body is a single-piece aluminum box beam, fitted with a large over-molded rubber hand grip, shock-absorbing end caps and non-marring side bumpers that help protect finished surfaces. A bridged center vial gives a continuous marking surface. Sold as a single level.
