Description
The Starrett 18AA is a 4 in (100 mm) automatic center punch with an adjustable stroke and a 7/16 in (11 mm) diameter. It has a lightweight, knurled steel handle for a positive grip and easy handling.
Per the manufacturer, an internal mechanism automatically strikes a blow when downward pressure is applied, and the spring tension that regulates the blow is constant so marks made by the point are uniform in depth and size for each setting. An adjustable knurled cap regulates the force of the blow, and the point can be removed for regrinding or replacement. All-steel handle and parts. Sold as a single tool.
