Description
The Starrett 829C is a full-ball small hole gage for general work, with a stated range of .300-.400 in (7.6-10.2 mm) and an overall length of 3-3/8 in (85 mm). It is used to measure small holes, slots, grooves and recesses.
Per the manufacturer, the hardened-ball measuring surface has a precision ground radius that gives two-point contact, adjustment is smooth and sensitive, and a safety stop prevents adjustment beyond the gage’s range. The hole size is transferred to a measuring tool such as a micrometer (not included). Sold as a single gage, not as the S829EZ set.
