Description

CRC Power Lube is a petroleum-based multi-purpose lubricant in a 311 g aerosol with carbon dioxide as the propellant. The thin oil film creeps into moving joints, frees up rusted or seized parts, quiets squeaks and gives metal surfaces a coat against moisture and corrosion. Maintenance crews reach for it on hinges, latches, cables, chains, pulleys and general plant equipment. It is NSF registered in category H2 for use where there is no possibility of food contact, and CRC Canada issues a CFIA letter of guarantee to match.

The Canadian Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2015) classifies the product as Aerosol Category 1 and Aspiration Hazard Category 1, signal word Danger: extremely flammable aerosol, pressurized container that may burst if heated, and may be fatal if swallowed and it enters the airways. Keep it away from heat and ignition sources, do not pierce or burn the can, and do not store it above 50 °C (122 °F). If swallowed, call a poison centre right away and do not induce vomiting. Read the SDS before use. Sold per can.
