Description
CRC White Lithium Grease is an off-white, lithium-based spray grease of NLGI grade 2 that goes on as a viscous film and stays put on metal-to-metal contact points. CRC lists hinges, latches, overhead door tracks, open gears, chains, cables, slide conveyors, guide rails and cams among its uses, with a working range of 0 to 300 °F (about -18 to 149 °C). Maintenance crews, garages and plant technicians reach for it on door hardware and light machinery.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2015) carries the signal word Danger: extremely flammable aerosol (Category 1, pressurized container that may burst if heated), skin irritation (Category 2), serious eye irritation (Category 2A), suspected reproductive toxicity (Category 2), drowsiness or respiratory irritation (Category 3), aspiration hazard (Category 1) and toxicity to aquatic life. Keep it away from heat and flames, use it in a ventilated area, and read the label and the SDS before use.
