Castrol CRB Monograde SAE 40 monograde diesel engine oil, for heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulic systems and transmissions that specify a monograde diesel engine oil (per Castrol).

- Protection: detergents to help reduce deposits and antioxidants to help prevent oil thickening (per Castrol)
- Typical values (indicative): density 0.896 g/ml at 15 °C; viscosity 13.4 mm²/s at 100 °C and 134 mm²/s at 40 °C; viscosity index 94; TBN 7.8 mg KOH/g; pour point −12 °C; flash point 220 °C
