Description
Loctite 271 is a red, low-viscosity, one-part anaerobic threadlocker for the permanent locking and sealing of threaded fasteners. It cures between close-fitting metal surfaces without air and keeps fasteners from loosening under shock and vibration. Henkel lists large bolts and studs up to M25 as typical applications, so it is used in industrial equipment, machinery and vehicle assembly and repair. This is the 10 mL bottle.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A) and a repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2), signal word Warning. Wear protective gloves, eye and face protection, avoid breathing vapours and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Disassembly normally requires localized heat. Sold per bottle.
