Description
Loctite 401 is a one-part, low-viscosity ethyl cyanoacrylate instant adhesive for fast assembly of difficult-to-bond materials, including metals, plastics and elastomers, and for porous materials such as wood, paper, leather and fabric. It cures with moisture from the surrounding air, so no mixing is needed, and workshops use it to fixture and bond small parts in seconds.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the adhesive as a combustible liquid (flammable liquid Category 4), an eye irritant (Category 2B) and a single-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 3, respiratory tract irritation), and warns that it bonds skin in seconds. Wear protective gloves, clothing and eye and face protection, use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold per 3 g tube.
