Description
Loctite 554 is a one-component, red, anaerobic acrylic thread sealant. Henkel describes it as giving maximum solvent resistance on threaded fittings and pipe up to 50 mm (2 in) in diameter, and recommends it for refrigeration systems and service with strong chemicals. Not for slip-fitted tube joints.
Safety Data Sheet classification: skin irritation Category 2, serious eye irritation Category 2A, specific target organ toxicity (repeated exposure) Category 2; contains cumene hydroperoxide (1-5%). Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold by the 10 mL bottle.
