Description
Loctite 565 is a one-part, white to off-white anaerobic thread sealant paste containing PTFE, made for locking and sealing metal pipes and fittings. It cures when confined between close-fitting metal threads, gives a low-strength seal that allows later disassembly with standard tools, and seals instantly to moderate pressure. Maintenance and plant crews use it on threaded metal pipe fittings.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), an eye irritant (Category 2A) and a repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2). Wear protective gloves, eye protection and face protection, avoid breathing vapours or mist and read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold per 6 mL tube.
