Description
LPS 1 Greaseless Lubricant is a moisture-displacing spray that leaves a dry, thin lubricating film. According to LPS, the film resists oil, dust and dirt build-up, and the product penetrates quickly to loosen rusted or frozen parts, restores water-damaged electrical equipment and is safe on paint, fabric and most plastics. LPS lists hinges and locks, electric motors, circuit breakers, relays, switch gears, precision instruments and power tools among its applications.
The Canadian Safety Data Sheet classifies it as an extremely flammable aerosol (Category 1; pressurized container, may burst if heated) and as an aspiration hazard (Category 1, may be fatal if swallowed and enters airways). Read the Safety Data Sheet before use. Sold as a 312 g (11 oz) aerosol can.
