Description
Permatex Black RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant is a one-part, moisture-curing silicone paste for sealing and bonding mechanical assemblies, housings, covers, door frames, weather stripping and similar parts. It forms a flexible, waterproof silicone rubber seal and is a handy 80 mL tube for maintenance shops, workshops and repair crews.
The maker states that this formula is not recommended for engine gasketing applications. Read the safety data sheet before use: it lists eye irritation (Category 2A), skin sensitization (Category 1) and suspected carcinogenicity (Category 2), so wear gloves and eye protection and work with good ventilation. Sold per tube.
