Description
Permatex Cold Weld is a two-part, steel-filled epoxy supplied as one tube of resin and one tube of hardener. Maintenance and repair workshops use it to fill, patch and bond iron, steel, brass, bronze, aluminum and copper parts such as cracked castings, damaged keyways and split stampings. Once fully cured it can be drilled, threaded and machined. The card holds two 28 g tubes, 56 g in total.
The Safety Data Sheet (WHMIS 2015) lists the resin as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A), skin sensitizer (Category 1) and carcinogen (Category 1A), and the hardener additionally as harmful by skin contact and inhalation (Category 4), signal word Danger. Wear gloves and eye protection, work in a ventilated area and read the SDS before use. Not for bonding polyethylene or polypropylene. Sold per 2-tube card.
