Description
Permatex Dielectric Tune-Up Grease is a white grease that protects electrical connections and wiring from salt, dirt and corrosion, according to Permatex. It is used on spark plug boots, connectors, battery terminals, bulb sockets and trailer hitch connections, and it also keeps spark plugs from fusing to their boots. This is the 85 g (3 oz) tube.
The Safety Data Sheet states the product is not considered hazardous under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard. Switch off the ignition system and clean the contact surfaces before applying a thin coat, and keep metal-to-metal contact when reassembling terminals. Sold per tube.
