Description
Permatex General Purpose 5 Minute Gel Epoxy is a two-part, non-drip epoxy adhesive supplied in a dual-barrel syringe, with a blue dye indicator that fades when resin and hardener are fully mixed. Repair and maintenance crews use it to bond metal, ceramic, glass, fiberglass, hard plastic and rubber. Permatex states a set time of about 4 to 6 minutes and usable strength after four hours at 22 °C (72 °F). This is the 25 mL syringe.
The Safety Data Sheet covers a resin and a hardener, both classified as skin irritants (Category 2), serious eye irritants (Category 2A) and skin sensitizers (Category 1 and 1B), with the signal word Warning. Wear protective gloves, clothing and eye and face protection, and read the Safety Data Sheet. Will not bond most polyethylene or polypropylene plastics. Sold per syringe.
