Description
Permatex High Strength Threadlocker Red is a single-component anaerobic liquid for heavy-duty fasteners and for permanently locking studs and press fits. It cures between close-fitting metal surfaces to resist shock, vibration and leakage, and Permatex lists cylinder block and rocker arm studs, ring gear, frame and shock absorber bolts among its uses. Parts may need heat or special tools to separate. This is the 10 mL bottle.
The Safety Data Sheet classifies the product as a skin irritant (Category 2), serious eye irritant (Category 2A), carcinogen (Category 1B) and repeated-exposure target organ toxicant (Category 2), with the signal word Danger. Wear protective equipment and eye and face protection, obtain special instructions before use and read the Safety Data Sheet. Sold per bottle.
