Description
The Bessey 2400S-12 is a regular duty all-steel bar clamp from the 2400S series, with a clamping capacity of 12 in (305 mm) and a throat depth of 5-1/2 in (140 mm). The manufacturer lists a nominal clamping force of 2,800 lb for this size and names metal construction and locksmith work among its areas of application.
It has a tilting MorPad pressure pad, an ergonomic grip, a U-shaped sliding arm and a sliding-pin T-handle, with a heat-treated Acme-threaded screw that the manufacturer describes as spatter resistant.
